What is Perspective?

Perspective is a private communication platform built for couples. It gives each partner a dedicated space to share their thoughts, then brings those perspectives together to help you understand each other more clearly.

Who is Perspective for?

Perspective is for any couple that wants to communicate more thoughtfully. Whether you are working through disagreements or simply trying to stay connected, Perspective provides a structured environment to support that process.

Is Perspective a replacement for couples therapy?

No. Perspective is a self-guided communication tool. It is not a substitute for licensed therapy. If you are experiencing serious relationship distress, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional.

Is my information private?

Yes. Everything you write is stored securely. Your partner cannot see your raw input in mediation sessions. Journal entries and personal reflections are never shared.

How Mediation Works

How does a session work?

Each partner shares their perspective independently. Once both have submitted, a balanced summary is generated that highlights where you agree and where the tension lies. You can then continue the conversation together.

Can my partner see what I write before the summary is ready?

No. Each partner's input is kept private until both have submitted. This ensures neither person is influenced by the other's words before they have had a chance to express themselves fully.

How do I invite my partner?

From the Home screen, tap the Invite your partner button. You will receive a unique link to share. Once they accept, you are connected and can start sessions together.

Daily Prompts

What are Daily Prompts?

Daily Prompts are fresh questions generated each day to help you and your partner connect and reflect together.

How do couple prompts work?

You each answer privately, and responses are revealed only once both partners have submitted. This keeps the exchange balanced.

What is a streak?

A streak counts how many consecutive days you and your partner have both answered the daily prompt together.

Learning and Growth

What learning content is available?

Perspective includes courses covering key areas of relationship health, with evidence-based concepts and practical strategies you can read at your own pace.

How can I track my progress?

The app includes tools to help you see where you started and how far you have come. You can access your growth data from the Home screen.

What is the Couple Profile?

The Couple Profile is where you each record your communication styles, love languages, and relationship goals. You can view a side-by-side comparison of your profiles.

Subscription

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan includes couple profile setup and comparison, one daily prompt, mediation test mode, basic messaging with your partner, and progress tracking.

What does a subscription unlock?

A subscription unlocks the full mediation experience, additional communication tools, bonus daily content, and detailed growth tracking features.

How much does a subscription cost?

Perspective is available for $6.99 per week or $49.99 per year. The yearly plan saves over 85% compared to the weekly rate.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. You can cancel at any time from the Google Play subscriptions page.

Privacy and Data

Who can see my session inputs?

Only you can see your raw session input. Your partner sees only the balanced summary, never your original words.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Your data is stored securely and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
