How to delete your account and all associated data.

Delete Your Account In-App

You can delete your account directly within the Perspective app by following these steps:

  1. Open the Perspective app
  2. Go to your Profile screen
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Once you confirm, all of your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. This includes your profile information, session inputs, messages, journal entries, reflection history, and any other data associated with your account.

Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, you can email us at hello@ourperspective.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include the email address associated with your Perspective account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile and account information
  • All session inputs and mediation summaries
  • All messages exchanged with your partner
  • Journal entries
  • Personal reflections and reflection history
  • Quiz results and progress data
  • Couple goals and timeline data

Important Notes

  • This action is not reversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you have an active subscription, deleting your account will cancel your subscription, but no refund will be issued for the remaining period.
  • Your partner will no longer see any shared session content, but their own account and data will remain intact.
